Maybe a computer rental is the answer! Sometimes running out to buy a new computer just doesn't make sense financially. With the cost of computer parts rising and repair fees adding up, renting a new computer is the way to go for some people.

Let's face it, if you can't afford a new computer chances are you can't afford to spend good money after bad on an old computer. Computer rental outfits are springing up all around and getting a rental computer is easier than ever.

Anyone renting a computer should also make sure there is a maintenance contract provided with the rental. Usually if the company wants to keep their rent checks coming in they will provide maintenance as part of the service or at a reduced rate.

Make sure of what you are renting. If you are going to rent a computer make sure it's new technology. Ask the associate you plan to rent from if this is the newest technology availabla especially if you plan on renting to own. Nothings worse than renting a computer only to find out it's old once you're done paying for it.

Make sure you request all the options and accessories necessary for your computing needs. If the company provides upgrades as part of the package be sure to request the items necessary for your purpose. If you're a music lover, make sure to get a CD burner. If you're into graphics, request a memory upgrade.

Rental computers are sometimes the best alternative for those with low finances. If you find yourself in this type of situation better consider renting your computer instead of buying new.
